This tutorial was just basic retouching but it was really helpful because now I can use this new skill in other projects. I did my best to use the tactics mentioned in the tutorial but every once in a while I had a tad bit of trouble. I unfortunately had some trouble with finding the original damaged picture that I used. Hopefully I will find it and post it along with this picture later.

James Sun Memorial 5K
I made this flyer as part of my project for leadership because we needed some flyers. I was trying to make the sun and WAHS logo to be faded in the background but still clearly visible. I had trouble with the opacity and keeping the colors relatively true to what they are. Looking back on it now I should have probably increased the saturation before lowering the opacity which may or may not have solved the problem.

Tutorial #3: MINONS!!
I completed this tutorial from the Photoshopuser magazine and I really liked it because it was complicated, yet enjoyable. I felt very accomplished when I finished it because it actually looks like a minion. I liked the fact that the paths were already in the .psd; it made the tutorial much easier to follow. I also enjoyed learning how to make the goggles actually seem metallic and the eyes look detailed. This has been one of my favorite tutorials so far.
Tutorial #2: Realistic Reflections
I went onto photoshopuser.com and followed along with a tutorial on how to make realistic reflections. It was a quite simple to follow but it had a some aspects that you had to figure ou ton your own. I enjoyed this tutorial because it was easy and I feel like I will be able to use this tactic later down the road (that is, if I remember it).
